**Malia Tayler: A Journey Through Dance and Wellness**
From a young age, Malia Tayler was immersed in the world of dance, igniting her passion at just six years old. Her journey continued in Orlando, Florida, where she honed her skills at the Elizabeth Parson’s School of Dance and further developed her craft in the Visual Performing Arts Dance Magnet at Dr. Phillips High School.
After facing a setback due to an injury, Malia redirected her energy towards The Sport of the Arts Color Guard. She performed with esteemed professional groups, including Fahrenheit Independent, Northeast Independent, Blue Devils Drum Corps, and Orlando Visual Independent. Additionally, she served as a Dance Instructor and Choreographer, as well as a Visual Guard Technician, collaborating with numerous high schools across Central Florida. These opportunities allowed Malia to work alongside prominent instructors and designers such as Scott Chandler, Robby DuFresne, Jill Brennan, Michael James, Stephen Porter, and even participate in workshops with the renowned Mia Michaels.
As she embraced the journey of starting a family, Malia expanded her repertoire with various skills related to the performing arts. She became a licensed cosmetologist specializing in hair and makeup, performed Polynesian dance with Kalena’s Polynesian Ohana, and showcased her talent in Dawn Branch Work’s 2019 production "Eden."
In the fall of 2020, Malia achieved certification as a RYT-200 Yoga Teacher and graduated as an Integrated Nutrition Health Coach. As a spiritual guide, she emphasizes the importance of inner healing, supporting individuals on their journey toward a balanced and self-nurturing lifestyle. Malia has shared her expertise by teaching at several studios throughout Central Florida.
Outside of her professional pursuits, Malia enjoys fitting pointe shoes alongside her business partner and mother, Linda Caldwell, at N’styl. She actively serves her church, manages her health and wellness business, and cherishes her roles as a mother to three boys and wife to her husband, Aaron.
Malia believes life is a precious gift, and time is fleeting. She encourages everyone to live each day to its fullest, embracing every moment with an open mind and heart. Her mantra resonates: “Live the life you love... Love the life you live.”
